The jacket is a racing green hopsack in pure wool, an open weave with enough texture to hold its own beside a knitted tie. The tie is dark brown wool and cashmere, knitted in Italy and finished with a pointed tip. The scarf is lambswool from the first shearing: a fine charcoal tooth framed by bands of camel with a hairline check.
The square is a lithograph after Landseer's The Monarch of the Glen (1851), printed in Macclesfield in black line and pewter grey. Green and brown give the camel bands something to agree with, and the stag supplies the scenery.
