Most knitted ties are cut square at the end. Ours finishes in a pointed tip, so it hangs like a woven tie under a jacket and looks entirely deliberate. The knit itself does the rest: a dense, soft texture that gives a solid colour real depth and holds a small, neat knot.
Knitted by hand in Italy from a wool and cashmere blend, it is as at home with linen and seersucker in summer as it is with flannel and tweed in winter.

Care
Dry clean only. Never hang it: roll it loosely and keep it in a drawer, or the knit will slowly stretch. A four-in-hand or similar small knot suits it best; a Windsor turns the knit bulky.
