About This Pairing
The tie is madder silk, screen-printed in Macclesfield with medallions set in rows across a navy ground, picked out in green and gold. It is handmade in England. The square is madder too: a cream, red and navy medallion with the same soft, chalky hand.
Navy grounds both pieces, and the red in the square gives the tie's green and gold some warmth. The two medallions are close enough to echo each other without repeating.
