The jacket is 100% wool in a midnight windowpane, fully lined in silk and made to order. The tie is burgundy madder silk with sky blue rings and cream tiles centred on saffron, screen-printed in Macclesfield and handmade in England. The square is madder too, in burnt orange, green and navy, with hand-rolled edges.

Both silks share madder's dry, chalky finish, so tie and square read as a single decision. The navy in the square settles back into the jacket, and its burnt orange answers the saffron at the centre of each tile.
